If you're familiar with "We Cell", a PC demoscene production by Kewlers from 2004, a thought may have crossed your mind along the lines of:
"Hmm, now, if that's a remix, then what happened with the original ?!?"
Well look no further because it's right here and right now, comfortably about 20 years late to the party! :D
With AK Balance, we wrote the original version of 'Jupiter Sound' over a weekend session at AKBs apartment downtown Tampere, Finland, during early may 2002. In that session we also put together another tune called 'Lost in a Vortex of Space Bass'. Both of these tunes have gone unreleased, up until now!
'We Cell' was originally supposed to have the original version of 'Jupiter Sound' for soundtrack, but after mr. Reefer dropped his total banger of a remix Kewlers then had no choice but to go with that instead. Since the PC demo had already received quite a bit of work at that point, mr. Reefer was kind enough to lay out the main parts of his remix in a way that followed the original version. Just so Curly Brace could wrap it up in time for Assembly 2004 demoscene party.
